Polly is, according to her employer Lord Upton, a "coarse Irish maid" in the TV drama Upton Rectory set in Edwardian England.

History

The season finale episode that Marge and Ben watched has Polly planning to marry Mr. Drake on Boxing Day's Eve (aka Christmas). At first Lord Upton disapproves, a moment later approved their marriage and the "dowager grandmum" gave Polly her ring with a giant blue diamond.
