Nate Silver is an American statistician and analyst.

History

In the future, Nate Silver provided statistics on groups of voters who would vote for Lisa Simpson for President of the USA, with him projecting Lisa as the winner. He then started to drink some Scotch and said that it was "five thirty eight" somewhere.

In the present day, Werner Herzog consulted the "oracle" to see how much of the story he told was true. The oracle was a crystal ball which Nate Silver appeared on. Silver then gave Lisa several odds of things happening to her in the future, which Lisa liked.
