Mr. Vanderbilt attended a horse race with his wife. When they saw Furious D walking around, they were shocked at his look. Mr. Vanderbilt wondered what had happened to the sport of kings. Bart then told the two of them to "get bent", causing Mr. Vanderbilt's monocle to fall out.[1]
Mr. Vanderbilt attended a potential investors show at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant with his wife.[2]
Description[edit]
Like his wife, Mr. Vanderbilt has a wealthy upper-crust demeanor and is easily shocked. However, rather than fainting as his wife does, Mr. Vanderbilt's typical reaction to something that surprises him is that his monocle falls out.
