Miss Scissors is a model in Springfield.

History

Kent Brockman and Mayor Quimby were fighting over Miss Scissors because they both wanted to go out with her. Waylon Smithers decided to settle who got to date her by drawing a circle around the model and telling Brockman and Quimby to pull at her. Whoever pulled her out of the circle would get to date her. However, Smithers told Homer that whoever really cared about her wouldn't want to hurt her, so they would avoid pulling on her arms. Brockman and Quimby started pulling at Miss Scissors, and Brockman pulled her out of the circle, leading Smithers to declare that Mayor Quimby got to date her. Quimby revealed that he had congenitally sweaty palms, which was why he let go of her.
