Joe "Duke" Cannon is a Republican politician.

History

Joe Cannon was one of the politicians who went to Springfield as part of Campaign USA. Cannon asked his staff where he stood on crime, and his staff told him that he was pro-crime so that they could get more prisons built for more jobs. When Cannon asked if his opponent was pro-crime, one of his staff members told him that his opponent was a wimp. Cannon liked that insult and decided to use it himself. Cannon then asked what town they were in and was happy to find out that no Springfielders would be attending the campaign. When Cannon left his trailer, one of his staff members referred to him as an idiot.

Cannon was later seen on television where he said that he would work to expand prison capacity by as much as it takes to make whoever is left on the outside feel safe.
