Clara is an elderly woman who was the girlfriend of Charlie.

History

When Charlie was dying during the war, he asked Abraham Simpson to give his dogtags, including a picture of Clara, to Clara, and to tell Clara that he said her name with his last breath. Grampa ended up procrastinating on this task and eventually gave the dogtags to a teenage Homer to give to Clara. Homer ended up handing the dogtags to Bart to give, and Grampa told Bart that a hundred year old woman was waiting for him.
