Tony Hawk is a professional skateboarder.
History
When Bart became emancipated and moved into his own apartment, he found (to his delight) that Tony Hawk was one of his neighbors. Bart soon came to idolize Hawk, to Homer's annoyance and frustration because he couldn't compete with Hawk's coolness.
Homer later challenged Hawk to a skate-off in order to show him up, figuring that he would easily win with the aid of a super-powered skateboard that could make anyone do amazing stunts. Hawk, for his part, got annoyed that Homer was not just beating him, but embarrasing him due to the special skateboard.
Behind the Laughter
Tony Hawk is an American professional skateboarder. Hawk gained significant fame for completing the first 900 as well as his licensed video game titles distributed by Activision.
