Dash Dingo was a character in a video game that Lisa plays when she's home sick from school. Dash had many Australian stereotypes (hat, accent, etc.).
Lisa was ill and was staying home from school. She wanted to study, but Marge insists that she relax and play one of Bart's video games. Lisa gave Dash Dingo a try and at first pooh-poohs the game, dismissing it as being of poor quality. However, she quickly got hooked on the game, forgot all about her studies, and ended up having to cheat on a test.
Dash later appeared as the mascot for a store called Dingo Junction.
