Gladys is a senior who was being transported to Florida.

History

In the future, Florida had become a maximum-security prison for old people. Gladys was one of the people being transported there on "the Disorient Express." When Homer waved at Bart and Lisa, Gladys told him not to wave at them because they might be escaped prisoners. The man sitting next to Gladys told her not to be ridiculous, but then they heard the song "Jailbreak" by Thin Lizzy playing from Bart's car, and the old folk all got scared.
