The Betty Boop cat was a customer at Scratchy's Service Station and Lunch Counter.

History

The Betty Boop cat was having car trouble and went to Scratchy's service station to get her car worked on. Scratchy was strongly attracted to her as soon as he saw her step out of her car.

While the Betty Boop cat was at the station, Itchy and Scratchy had a violent clash over which one of them would get to help her. In spite of their disagreement, Itchy and Scratchy succeeded in getting her car running again. In the end, Itchy tied Scratchy to a gas pump, blew up the service station and drove off into the distance in the Betty Boop cat's car with her beside him in the passenger seat.

Behind the Laughter

  • The Betty Boop cat bears a strong resemblance to Betty Boop, whence derives her conjectural designation.
