References

  1. In "Goo Goo Gai Pan", Madam Wu mentions that she was once a baby herself (in association with Ling being raise by a single Selma Bovier). She also mentions that her father choked to death on a pig pong ball the day before the creation of the Heimlich Maneuver in 1974. While also mentioning that her mother raised her alone, this indicates that Wu was born in that same year (and lived her whole life without her father's presence). Because of the cut-off year of aging (1989), this would normally make her 15 years. But because the writers constantly retcon the series, the math would have to based on the year of her first appearance (2005). 2005 - 1974 = 31.
