Handsome Pete is a strange, diminutive dwarf who plays the accordion, and whose face resembles a distorted Krusty the Klown. He first appeared in Bart the Fink, when Bart, looking for Krusty, blows up a balloon and asks the Sea Captain if he'd seen him. Sea Captain, on seeing the skewed image of Krusty on the balloon, answered, "Aye that's Handsome Pete, he dances for nickels!" In 22 Short Films About Springfield, one can catch a glimpse of him in OFF's restaurant. According to The Simpsons: A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family, "he's not that handsome".
