Marge was looking for a critic to judge the Springfield Film Festival when she started to watch an episode of Coming Attractions where they reviewed Death Wish IX,a film Bronson was starring in.

The Simpson family watched Before They Were Famous when Shary Bobbins was there nanny. When they watched the show asked Homer about a beer to Shary that gave him one after she tried him to not have one by a song. The episode they watched showed Rainier Wolfcastle's first appearance in a commercial and Charles Bronson as Andy Griffith in "The Andy Griffith Show".
