Morty is a lighting technician for Krusty's Li'l Starmaker.

History

When Lisa was preparing for her performance, she asked Morty if she could have a green light instead of the red light that was shining on her. Morty told her that they didn't have green, so Homer went up to the lighting booth and punched Morty. After this, Morty gave Lisa a green light.

Before Lisa's final performance, she asked Morty to dim the light a bit and give her a red wash in the background. Morty told Lisa that he couldn't do that. Homer, who was now working for Cameron, then asked Morty to give Cameron a rose-colored spotlight and an aqua background with an astronaut on a surfboard, which Morty did immediately.
