Mr. Sparkle AKA ミスタースパーコル(literally translated as Misutasupakoru) AKA Misutā Supākoru is a Japanese dishwashing detergent mascot who bears a strong resemblance to Homer.

Homer spends the majority of the episode thinking his likeness was being used without his permission until a video from Mr. Sparkle's parent company explains it came from combining a cartoon fish and lightbulb. To sum up the explanation provided by the video, Bart says to Homer, "There's your answer, fishbulb." [1]
