Montgomery "Scotty" Scott is a engineer in the Star Trek franchise.

History

The Simpson family sees a trailer and clips from the latest Original Series film, Star Trek XII: So Very Tired, which depicts an elderly and senile cast. In the trailer is Scotty overweight so he can no longer reach the control panel in Engineering.

When Homer talk about Mr. McGrew's Christmas Carol to his family they show him a version of Christmas Carol where Captain Kirk want's a report from Mr. Sulu, Sulu tell him there appears to be some spirit from an Earth holiday past. That made the Kirk to ask Mr. Scott him to fire photon torpedoes but it was no use for he showing visions of his future when he is fat. The captain was then angry and ask them to fire and they do it.
