History
Guthrie Frenel went to visit the Simpson family to tell them that he wanted to make Lisa and Marge's comic book, Sad Girl, into a stage musical. Frenel explained that he wanted to make something new and amazing for the show.
In production of the show, Frenel changed everything, only keeping the art style from the comic. The story was only summed up in the opening speech from the narrator, much to Lisa's annoyance.
During the musical, Marge realized Lisa was upset about the changes that happened, so drew Lisa's face on a spotlight. When Frenel realized this, he moved the spotlight away from the stage and into the technical operator's booth, which caused him to be blinded, destroying the show. After the show, Frenel read a review calling the musical the "greatest disaster in theater history", which upset him.[1]
Guthrie Frenel attended the launch event for The Drederick[2] and he was seen in the audience for Tabitha Shingle's live recording of her podcast Interminable.[3]
Personality
Guthrie Frenel is very eccentric, making erratic movements and interacting with the environment in strange ways. He is also very dedicated to his passion and when he envisions something, he has to have it his way with nobody else telling him how to do things, or even making suggestions. Frenel's passion is seen when he finds out his play was seen as a disaster, which caused him great upset.
