Michael is a member of the First Church of Springfield choir and the church council.

History

Michael was driving the car with the rest of the choir in when they were late for a service. He then crossed a double yellow line to get into another lane, causing Chief Wiggum and Lou to chase after them.

When Reverend Lovejoy was losing his voice, Michael announced that Bode Wright would take over the sermon. Michael later went with the rest of the church council to relieve Reverend Lovejoy as reverend.

Michael was at the church during Bode's services. He later attended the town meeting about what to do with Bode after it came out that he burned a Bible.
