Bert Albertson is the son of Comic Book Guy and Marge Albertson.
History
27 years after the original defeat of Krusto, Marge had gotten married to Comic Book Guy and had two kids; Bert and Lizzie. Bert was smart and had gotten an A+ grade for his Elizabeth Cady Stanton diorama. Homer Simpson called Marge and Comic Book Guy to tell them that Krusto was back. Marge was reluctant to go as she now had Bert and Lizzie to look after. However, she decided to go anyway, leaving Comic Book Guy and the kids behind. Comic Book Guy then took the kids to bring Marge home again. As Comic Book Guy and Marge argued at D'ohs, Bert and Lizzie went for a walk down the street and found Needful Crap Secondhand Store. Bart stared at the television in the window. When Lizzie realized that he had stopped, she also went to stare at the television. Krusto then kidnapped the children and took them to Channel 14.
At Channel 14, the kids were placed in a cage. When the adults arrived to save them, Bert and Lizzie realized that the audience made of ghosts of the children Krusto had killed were laughing when a sign told them to. Realizing this was what gave Krusto his power, they told the adults to destroy the sign. Krusto went to bite Marge, but ended up biting Comic Book Guy instead, who had jumped in to save his wife. Marge then threw a rock at the sign, destroying it and defeating Krusto.

- Bert strongly resembles Bart Simpson but is more similar to his sister Lisa in personality.
