The Scarlet Tanager is a medium-sized American songbird and is classified as being in the cardinal family.
History
While being tracked by his family by means of a chip, Bart tied it to a Scarlet Tanager's leg. The Simpson family followed it to Machu Picchu, thinking it was Bart.[1]
When Bart tried to prank Seymour Skinner with recordings of Barack Obama's voice, Scarlet Tanager flew in and ruined Bart's prank by pecking on keyboard buttons of the notebook, which Bart used to prank Seymour Skinner.[2]
