Alvarine Gurney (née Bisque) is Jacqueline Bouvier's mother and Marge's grandmother.

History

She didn't smoke and looked like Patty and disapproved of Jacqueline's and Marge's choices of husbands. She is probably dead but it's unknown if she is alive or not. Even though she doesn't smoke, she has the most raspy voice of all the girls in her family. She's almost blind, and when putting food in to Marge's mouth, used the "here comes the aeroplane" technique, but continuously ran in to Marge's face.

She owned what appeared to be a civil war figurine, but it turned out to be a liquor bottle.
