David Crosby is an American singer-songwriter. He is most famous for being a founding member of the band Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
History
Crosby was the sobriety partner of Lionel Hutz. When Hutz was defending Marge from shoplifting charges, he held up the bottle of bourbon she had been accused of stealing and was tempted to drink it. Hutz hastily excused himself from the courtroom, went to a pay phone and called Crosby for support. Crosby exhorted Hutz to "Just take it one day at a time, and know that I love you", and Hutz was able to resist the temptation. Later in the trial, when Hutz made his closing remarks, Crosby was in attendance in the courtroom.[1]
When The Be Sharps won a Grammy Award, Crosby was the presenter.[2]
