Ariel is a mermaid who received the legs of the sea witch after she fell in love with a man who she saved. The sea witch told her at if your true love marries someone else she will be turned to foam. Homer proposed to her but she did not dare to say yes so he married to someone else and she was turned to foam. When Homer was going to drink a beer he saw Ariel in the foam and she told her that she loved him and they married each other.
Behind the Laughter
- The Little Mermaid in Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tale doesn't have a name. Her naming in this story is from the Disney franchise based off of the story.
