This article is about the character. For the guest star, see Ron Howard.

Ron Howard is an American film director who seems to be good friends with Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin. He also gave Homer parenting advice at one time but also tried to kill him after jumping onto Homer's mobile museum. He can't drive very well. Homer wanted him to direct a new film he had wrote about a robot driving instructor whose best friend is a pie.[1]

Ron Howard was also a celebrity guest on Springfield Squares, where he got into a fight with Homer Simpson over Homer's getting to be the center square even though he flubbed his lines. Some days later, Howard took his children to a "famous people only" zoo.[2]
