History[edit]

When the Springfield Isotopes were down by three runs, Homer couldn't stand the poor response the crowd was giving the team, so he started to dance. His dance actually cheered up the crowd and made batter Bill McCloskey hit a home run, leading the Isotopes to win the game. Antoine "Tex" O'Hara, the team owner, made Homer the Isotopes' mascot. Although the team's results weren't good, Homer performed so well that Tex O'Hara offered him the opportunity to dance for the Capital City Capitals in an attempt to help a now-aging Capital City Goofball.[1]

Tex O'Hara was among the many Springfieldians cheering for Michael Jackson. He was disappointed when Leon Kompowsky showed up instead.[2]

He was part of the human pyramid attempting to break the record for the world's tallest human pyramid.[3]
