History

When the Simpsons were traveling through Tanzania, they saw several billboards about Muntu. One saying "Hail President Muntu", one saying "Muntu Means Progress" and one saying "Muntu Builds Stadiums". When Marge asked Kitenge who Muntu was, Kitenge told her that he was their leader and he seized power in a bloodless coup, only smothering people.

Later, Muntu got removed from power, with Kitenge becoming the new president, and Muntu became a flight attendant.
