Handsome Pete is a strange, diminutive character who plays the concertina, and whose face resembles a distorted Krusty the Klown.
Role in The Simpsons
He first appeared in Bart the Fink, when Bart, looking for Krusty, blows up a balloon and asks the Sea Captain if he'd seen him. The Captain, on seeing the skewed image of Krusty on the balloon, answered, "Aye that's Handsome Pete, he dances for nickels!"
Other Appearances
In 22 Short Films About Springfield, one can catch a glimpse of him in the Simpson home. In "Homer Simpson in: Kidney Trouble", he is sitting on a barrel outside Davey Jones' Hamper. He also appears in The Simpsons Movie when the dome is covering the town and everybody is listening to Russ Cargill's speech about the dome. He is easy to see as he is a few inches behind Homer and Plopper.
