Flanders' pet woodpecker was the pet woodpecker of the Flanders' family. After figuring out that badgers liked to eat woodpeckers, Bart asked Todd to borrow it to get a badger out of Santa's Little Helper's dog house. Todd mentioned that Bart had to return it as that day was his birthday. Bart tries to feed the it to the badger, but the bird attacks Bart and flies away while laughing like Woody Woodpecker. It then flies into a bug zapper.
Behind the Laughter
It's vocal effects were provided by Frank Welker. When the bird is about to fly in the bug zapper, it laughs like Woody Woodpecker. It appears to be a Red-headed Woodpecker, a type of bird native to North America.
