Raymond Bird was a pigeon previously owned by Wiseguy but was owned by Bart Simpson for a while.
History
After flying through a window at the Simpsons house, Lisa calls the number around his leg and gets Wiseguy. He says that he doesn't intend on coming to pick up his pigeon as his other 200 pigeons would want to come with him in the front seat of his car. Bart ends up caring for him.
After Ray gets his strength back, Bart goes to release him into the wild but he doesn't want to leave. Bart then adopts him and takes him home again. After Homer fails to build a coop for him, they get another one and Moe suggests entering him in the Annual Springfield to Shelbyville Birditeron, a race. As Bart takes out Ray to warm him up, Santa's Little Helper eats him. After his death, Bart becomes depressed.
