The FEMA official is an unnamed scammer passing himself off as being with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

History[edit]

Mayor Quimby realized Springfield is broke after reading the city ledger records. In a gathering held at the Springfield City Hall, the citizens opted to fake a disaster to trick the Federal government out of relief money. After faking a hurricane disaster, the FEMA official arrives in Springfield to approve the relief funding but first demands a $2,500 processing fee, which turned out to be a scam.
