Terrance's father was a former secret agent for MI5 and the father of Terrance.

Terrance's father had been assigned to figure out how the Russians had been one step ahead of MI5. He told the head of MI5 that the Russians had just made lucky guesses. The head of MI5 called him a fool and told him that there was a mole in MI5. Terrance's father then said he had asked everyone, and they all denied being a mole. The head of MI5 slapped Terrance's father before shoving him into a tube and ejecting him from the building.
