Character Information

The district attorney is an gruff, older attorney. He is a no nonsense attorney, and appears more competent at his job than most other lawyers in Springfield.
History[edit]
He is most famous for prosecuting Krusty in his infamous trial for robbing the Kwik-E-Mart. He was the man who forced Homer to pick Krusty out at the trial and he is also the one who inadvertently revealed Krusty's illiteracy.[1] He was again at the prosecution table when Judge Snyder was about to hand down a sentence at Bart's trial for Principal Skinner's murder and head of the Springfield Mafia although Burns' lawyer was questioning the witnesses.[2]
He was addressed a Senator by Brad Fletcher, a senate page, who frantically called him when learned from Lisa about Congressman Bob Arnold being bribed.[3]
He is presiding over the House of Representatives for a bill for the immediately evacuation of Springfield because it was in the path of a comet when another congressman tacked on a rider for $30-million funding to the perverted arts and the bill is defeated.[4]
Behind the Laughter[edit]
His appearance was based on famed American defense attorney Clarence Darrow.[5]
