The Nuclear Lake is a lake near the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. The Plant dumps its leftover water into the lake, which mutates the first Blinky. The lake somehow connects to Lake Springfield.

The Old Fishin' Hole is part of Nuclear Lake. This is where Bart caught Blinky, the three eyed fish. This river is so polluted that it caused this normal goldfish to turn into a mutant three-eyed goldfish.[1]
