Betty Ford is a former First Lady of the United States and the wife of Gerald Ford.

History[edit]

Krusty the Clown hosted a TV special titled Krusty Komedy Klassic and had Gerald Ford as his guest. Krusty insulted Ford and was generally rude to him, and then added further insult to injury by asking Ford how his wife Nancy mistaken Ford's wife for Nancy Reagan, wife of ex-President Ronald Reagan. Ford sharply corrected Krusty that his wife's name is Betty. Krusty then replied, "Who cares?"

Behind the Laughter[edit]
