Chase, also known as Pyro, is an American Gladiator, a parody of the real-life Gladiator Nitro. He dated Luann after she divorced from Kirk. Their relationship ends when it she's caught cheating on him with his best friend Gyro. He also made a cameo in the simpsons movie. When Bart and Pyro first meet, Pyro impresses Bart when he reveals that smashing a chair against him doesn't even cause him to flinch. Bart later attempts to do a similar trick to Homer while he was bathing, although Homer ends up crying in agony.
