Dash Dingo is a character in a video game that Lisa plays when she's home sick from school. Dash has many Australian stereotypes (hat, accent, etc.).
Lisa is ill and is staying home from school. She wants to study, but Marge insists that she relax and play one of Bart's video games. Lisa gives Dash a try and at first pooh-poohs the game, dismissing it as being of poor quality. However, she quickly gets hooked on the game, forgets all about her studies, and ends up having to cheat on a test.
Dash later appears as the mascot for a store called Dingo Junction.
