The dancing chimp was a dancer on The Krusty the Clown Show Retro Reboot!
History
He was dancing with Krusty before he showed off his moves, upstaging Krusty. Annie Dubinsky then shouts at him for upstaging Krusty, threatens to make chimp tacos out of him and forces him to apologize to Krusty. The chimp then kisses Krusty and Krusty tells him to not kiss so hard otherwise Annie will realize that they have a past.
