Magnus Carlsen is a Norwegian world chess champion.

History[edit]

When Homer stopped playing chess, Marge Skyped Magnus Carlsen to ask him to help Homer. Magnus helps Homer by telling him he needs to finish his last chess game with his father in order to feel better about himself. He then predicts things Homer is doing.

Magnus was later watching Homer's chess game against Grampa via Skype in Moe's Tavern.[1]

Magnis Carlsen's picture was on a captcha screen for chess grandmasters on the Wayz website. It was one of the pictures that Lisa clicked.[2]
