The old Italian man is a sauce chef at Luigi's. He has the power to show people what could have been if a different choice in life was made.

History[edit]

When Homer was lamenting about not ever knowing what his life would have been like if he had been class president, Luigi told Homer that there was a way and took him into the kitchen to meet the old Italian man. The old Italian man could stir the sauce in such a way that he could see what could have been if another choice was made. As he stirred the sauce, images began to appear to the Simpsons showing what Homer's life would have been like if he won.

After seeing that he would have been accepted and loved as class president, Homer asked why fate did this to him. The old Italian man then told Homer to ask the garlic bread, before he laughed at Homer for talking to bread. He then kept stirring the sauce to show Homer more of his life. Upon seeing that he would have a huge mansion and no kids, Homer tried to jump into the sauce as he wanted to live in this other reality. The old Italian man dragged him out and told him that if someone could live in the sauce, he would live in the sauce.
