Roy is a college aged cool guy who stays at The Simpsons home in The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show. He is a human character who resembles Poochie. After a while of living with the Simpsons, he goes back to Las Angeles to be with all the ladies.
Behind the Scenes
He was originally going to appear in Treehouse of Horror V. He was put into the show to provide an ironic punchline to Lisa's observation, "Adding a new character is often a desperate attempt to boost low ratings." This was probably just a joke and The Simpsons probably did not have low ratings.
