Jean-Pierre Petomane is a television sports commentator.

History[edit]

Petomane, along with Wayne Buckhorn and Doc Jacques Lalonde, provided commentary for a televised ice hockey game between the Springfield Ice-O-Topes and the Utica Mohogs. Homer tuned in just after the game ended and wanted to know the score, but none of the commentators would say it.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

From his dress and manner of speaking, Petomane is an obvious caricature of Canadian ice hockey commentator Don Cherry.
