Godfrey Jones is the host of the tabloid news program Rock Bottom. Homer is accused of sexually harassing babysitter Ashley Grant, when in reality he was only trying to grab a Gummi Venus de Milo that was stuck to her pants. After this, Homer is picketed by protesters who label him as a monster. Homer receives a call from Jones (who introduces himself "Homer, this is God.... frey Jones") who says he wants to help. Homer is interviewed by Jones, but Rock Bottom edits his interview to make it look like he is admitting "grabbing her can" and does its best to make Homer look evil.

In the end, Homer is proven innocent, and Jones apologizes and the show posts a list of corrections, which fly by on the screen. Slowing down the corrections enough to read them reveals one that says: "Godrey Jones' wife is cheating on him"
