General Sherman is a freakishly big catfish.
Biography
He is a hundred years if he's a day and weighs upwards of five hundred pounds. He resides in Catfish Lake where he competes with wives for their husbands' time. The Picture of General Sherman, in the Service Station, is a reference to the famous hoax picture of the Loch Ness Monster. Homer accidentally caught him on a fishing lure while holding it for a kid, eventually he managed haul him into the canoe he was paddling in and knocked him unconscious with an oar, after realizing his marriage with Marge was on the rocks he decided to let him go.
