The wig store employee is a man who works at Knoxville Wig Outlet at the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee.

History

When Bart, Milhouse, Martin and Nelson arrived at the World's Fair, they discovered that the entire fair was dilapidated and rundown. Bart went over to a wig shop and asked the man if this was the fair's visitors center. The man told them that the fair had happened 14 years ago, and that the Sunsphere is now supposedly the "Wigsphere". He then asked Bart if the boys were going to buy some wigs.
