The Sea Captain's wife is a former treasure hunter and the wife of Captain Horatio McCallister.

History

In her and her husband's younger days, the two of them were in a drinking contest together in a bar on a snowy mountain. A German man then went into the bar and demanded that they hand over half of a map. Horatio and his wife fought off the man, burned down the bar and stole the German man's half of the map. They then put the two halves together and found out that it led to Springfield.

The pair of them moved to Springfield where they lived for forty years, not having any luck finding the treasure. The Sea Captain's wife lived as a housewife, cooking and cleaning most days. Eventually, Horatio found the treasure but when he got back to shore, Mayor Quimby claimed the treasure, having redrawn Springfield's sea boundaries. The Sea Captain's wife revealed that she told him about it as she felt like she was Horatio's treasure.
