Langdon Alger

Langdon Alger is an unseen character, mentioned only in "Bart on the Road. He is very quiet and enjoys puzzles. Lisa has a brief crush on him and shares this with Homer.

Episode writer Richard Appel explains on the DVD commentary for Bart on the Road that Langdon Alger was the name of a schoolmate of his.

He first appears in the Bart Simpson comic book dating Janey.
