June Bellamy is a seasoned voice actress who has provided the voices of Itchy and Scratchy on The Itchy and Scratchy Show since the show's inception. Her lengthy resume also includes the voice of the Roadrunner in the Looney Tunes cartoons, though she claimed she only recorded one "meep" which the studio then duplicated as a cost-saving measure.

Bellamy quickly befriended Homer when he's cast as the voice of Poochie, and appreciates his help in dealing with geeky fans at conventions. She explains to Homer how cartoons aren't liveon TV because of the strain on the animators wrists. When Homer's livelihood was threatened, June stood up to the producers, saying that if he goes, she goes. Her help was not enough to save Poochie, however.
