Cliff Clavin is a barfly.

History[edit]

After Homer was banned from Moe's Tavern, he went to a bar were Norm got into an argument with bartender Woody. After Woody refused to give Norm a drink, Norm threatened Woody by breaking off the end of a beer bottle and saying "I'll kill ya, I'll kill all of ya!", before jumping at Woody. Woody was stopped and calmed down by two men, one of which was Cliff Clavin. Cliff also told Norm to "save those pipes for karaoke." As Homer watched these events unfold, he quickly exited the bar. Norm then told the two that he loved them, before crying on Cliff's shoulder.^[1]

He appeared in the crowd of a Boston Americans parade.^[2]

Cliff Clavin is a character from the NBC sitcom Cheers, in-which he was played by John Ratzenberger, who also voiced Clavin in The Simpsons.
