Mr. Boswell is a famous fashion critic who served as a judge for the Miss American Girl Pageant.

History[edit]

Homer, Lisa and Bart were watching the Miss American Girl Pageant on TV. Host Troy McClure introduced the panel of judges, describing Mr. Boswell as "the man behind those infamous worst-dressed lists". McClure then asked Boswell for "a sneak peek at this year's list". Boswell replied, "Memo to Goldie Hawn: Cheerleading tryouts were thirty years ago. Let's grow up, shall we?"

The studio audience laughed uproariously. Bart, watching at home, also laughed, and said, "He's such a bitch!"[1]

Mr. Boswell was at the opening of The Nag and Weasel pub, which was renovated from Moe's Tavern. Kent Brockman asked him what he thought about it and he responded with "Marge Simpson and Moe Szyslak, here's a mash note to your bangers: I wish you could live in me forever!"[2]
