Mr. Muntz with Nelson

Thomas "Tom" Muntz Jr. a.k.a. Mr. Muntz is Nelson's overweight father. He first appeared in Season 4's "Brother from the Same Planet" as Nelson's soccer coach. He wears a white sleeve-less shirt with a green striped jacket, with light gray pants and black shoes. He has tan hair. His age is unknown. His occupation is a circus act. He has a wife named Mrs. Muntz, who is Nelson's mother.

After that, it was often mentioned that he went to the store for a pack of cigarettes and didn't return. He reappeared in "Sleeping With the Enemy" voiced by Harry Shearer and he revealed that he never intended to abandon the family. He had been forcibly placed in a freak show (as he had allergies to peanuts, and he accidentally bit a peanut / chocolate bar, that day). His face also looks a little bit like Mr. Burns, except bigger and a little fatter. He is voiced by Harry Shearer (originally Phil Hartman).
